The Queen of Hair Cuts, Colorist and Weave Slayer in her own right, Kimberly Sylvan is the Co-Owner of Salon Utopia. She began her career in Grambling, LA. After four years at Grambling State University as both a full-time student and the resident co-ed hairstyling expert, she began to realize her true calling. Kimberly finished school and enrolled at Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School. Here is where she excelled in learning about hair care, hair sanitation, different cultural trends, and the growing cosmetology industry. She went on to complete Cosmetology school and get her state license.
She attends workshops and seminars across the country to make sure she stays "in the know". When she isn't trend-watching, she is trend-setting! Kimberly Sylvan has developed several of her own hairstyling techniques that have become the key to her growing brand.
Kristal Sabbs has been branded as a Precision Cutting Artist, Hair Colorist, & Skilled Short Hair Stylist. She has had a passion for the beauty industry since a young girl. After pursuing her Bachelor's in Finance & Master's in Business Administration, she decided to pursue her passion for a career in the hair industry in 2007.
She obtained her cosmetology license at the Cosmetology Career Center - Paul Mitchell in Carrollton, TX in 2008. She is a Salon Business Consultant, coaching Stylists & Barbers in the way of developing their career.
